What do I feed my ghost shrimp?

  • I have a 10 gallon freshwater fish tank with 3 zebra danieos, 3 neon tetras, and 2 sunset barbs (a type of tiger barb) and I bought 6 ghost shrimp and put them in and 1 day later 1 was dead and 1-2 days later another one was dead what do I need to feed them to keep them alive or is sompthing els the problem the fish are fine and helthy then tank has been cycled?

    They will eat leftover fish food. Ghost shrimps are largely carnivore. They will eat whole bloodworm if you give it to them.

Tank isn't cycled or there's something toxic in there. All your fish species are present in way too small numbers which leads to stress and increases risk of ilness.

You can feed them frozen food. They are bottom-feeders so they eat the left over food. If you want to feed them directly, feed them algae. You can also take a pinch of flakes, leave them in the water for a bit and they will eventually sink and the shrimp will consume them.
