How to play 3d games on pc with hdmi connection?

  • I am soon going to get a new pc screen for my pc... I have hd6850 and it's 3d compatable . my pc will be connected with a hdmi . will I be able to watch 3d and if so do I need glasses and what type of glasses should I get? on pc do you just change a setting and it's 3d or do you have to download extra content? (LG E2351VR-BN LED Monitor 23'')

    As far as I know that is not a 3D screen you are looking to buy. You need a 3D screen to use your card's 3D capabilities and those screens are a lot more expensive. You also need 3D glasses which usually come with the screen, but can be bought seperately. The 3D is also only active in programs that support it, so your display won't be 3D all the time, only when you play a game that has 3D capabilities. Overall, the whole 3D thing isn't worth the trouble and the money to be honest. All its really useful for is watching movies in 3D, but it doesn't work with just any movie so you have to buy or download the movie in 3D.
