How to make a picture your profile picture ?

On Facebook I uploaded a mobile picture. It has some likes and comments and I want it my profile picture. How do I make it my profile picture aaand keep the likes and comments when I make it my profile picture??

You can't. Once you make a picture a profile picture it's copied into that file of profile pictures. BUT you can keep it on your wall to show people have liked it and commented on it.
