How can I comment as a fan page to an event I've set up on facebook as a fan page?

I created a music artist fan page, I then set up an event with my new fan page, now that the event is set up, I can't seem to interact fully on the event wall. My comments are not showing up and I more often then not am not able to comment on the event wall. I had a personal account but didn't use it for years. I do not want to use the personal account at all. I only want to exist as an artist.
