Can I be arrested for things I list on my application while applying to become a cop?

If the statute of limitations hasn't ran out, you can be arrested for any crime that can be placed on you. As for past history it all depends on the hiring policy and practices of the department you are applying too. Example: Some agencies will ask if you've done drugs in the last 5 years, over 5 years your forgiven, under 5 years you'll be turned away on the spot. Then they will consider who they want to hire in the pool of applicants who qualify. Your history may put in at an advantage or disadvantage. Lying on the application will result in immediate termination, and these lies could be found during your back ground check(which might still be in progress when you start the Academy). During the application process you can find yourself getting drug tested, doing psych exams, and being submitted to a lie detector. So if your confident against all that, go apply.
