What are the first symptoms of Alzheimer's?

Symptoms of alzheimers?

  • I have a very good friend who was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a couple of years ago, but over the past year her memory has got worse, she will forget she is making a cup of coffee or forget to turn the cooker on and wonder why the food isnt cooked, this is not daily but it is several times a week. The reason for my question is we wonder if it is one of the fibromyalgia symptoms or is this the onset of alzheimers? She is 42.

  • Answer:

there is something called early onset alzheimers fms comes with fibrofog, but real fms is rare fms is HIGHLY over diagnosed most people diagnosed with fms don't really have it...most have something else---some are not physically ill at all. even when you supposedly had all the tests (there are hundreds if not thousands of possible tests and docs often miss positive results in tests they do) and even when you have been to multiple so called specialists...most get it wrong... they use fms as a general label for pain...even if they know the pain is due to another condition such as Lymes or MS....or when they are too lazy to put any effort into finding a diagnosis one major issue is hypothyroid.....the in range number is too high--people actually have hypothyroid symtpoms at 3.0....but that is supposedly normal. there are many other things they miss vitamin d deficiency/iron deficiency anemia, lymes (look up lyme literate MD), ms, chiari malformation, etc i deal with it my educating myself and being open to the possibility it is something else---continuing to research any lead--even though I have been to 2 top specialists..and 12 years of research seems to indicate that the diagnosis is correct MANY people on here have clearly described a condition other than FMS, but have been diagnosed with it.

you are describing is something called Fibro Fog. It is VERY real and can be extremely distressing and disabling. Doctors aren't sure what causes this. I know because I suffer from the same thing. I seem to run 30 seconds behind everyone else, that is how I describe it. I also have to search for words when talking. I don't experience it every day but I do experience it often. It is common with Fibromyalgia and often used in diagnosing it. There is such a thing as Fibromyalgia. Many people suffer from this condition and it can cause one to be very depressed, misunderstood, and not believed. Short term memory loss is one of the many symptoms of fibromyalgia, not to mention the chronic pain .
