How do I minimize the 'Real Player" screen?

How to get full screen in vlc player.......i mean that when i on full screen mode i doesnt get the full pictre?

  • i does not get the full screen when i play 1080p or 720p.........and its when i play a low quality video then i get full screen.....................i am using windows xp service pack 2.......and i have 20 inch samsung led monitor..........when videos are played in my friends computer......they enjoy full screen and when these same videos are played into my computer i does not get full screen..........full screen means that top portion and bottom portion are black.......i hope anyone can help me...bczz i am a movie addict...........thankssssss.......

  • Answer:

    right click on the video and click on video options check/uncheck the scale button if there is a option called fit to screen then check it but the first method should do the trick

see the menu:- 1)click video->aspect ratio->16:9 2)click video->click always fit window vlc is good but i recommend km player 3.2,its better than vlc

Alt F will give full screen. Also there is a full screen toggle icon in the VLC player. If these does not work then go to Tools --> preferences --> video and enable full screen.
