WHat is genetic Identification?

What can my friend do?... Lost all identification in a fire few months back.?

• What can he do to get his identification back? He lost everything in a fire a few months back. He has NO ID no clothes. Nothing to identify himself legally by. I mean he is basically homeless n can not provide identification to get a job. He has been asking me for help and I have been trying and every place I go tell me he needs some forum of ID to get things back to the way they were before the fire. That is just it he has NOTHING at all and at this point the only thing he has left is the clothes on his back. I am trying my hardest to get him his birth certificate n it be fully certified by the state and even they tell me on the state site (*Virginia in this case*) that they need a photo copy of his ID. He lost that too! Any idea on what I can do? I am at a loss! Anything could help at this time because he is really trying and it has been 3 moths since the fire. Please let me know!

  Is your friend an adult? Why isn't he doing this himself? He needs to go to the various ID sources (Birth certificate, SS number, DMV) and ask each of those what they need. Tell his to CALL and speak to a real person, why can walk him through the process. This happens every day, to take 3 months to deal with it is ridiculous.
