How do I forward new/incoming email from Yahoo! to Gmail automatically after deleting my Yahoo account?
-
My Yahoo account has been sending spam emails to all of my contacts every single day, and I am tired of hearing about it from my peers. I have tried changing my password several times, with no luck.I would like to delete my Yahoo email account, and just forward all my incoming emails to my Gmail account. Is this possible? If so, can you please let me know? Thanks so much for the help.

Answer:
Once you delete your yahoo account all email sent there will be returned to sender. You need to notify your contacts about your new address before deleting your yahoo account. So your contacts won't be receiving spam, you must go to your profile and click on "settings" (gear icon). Under Activity Sharing manage your updates. Stop sharing updates.
