Why leave stickers on your fitted hat?

• I've noticed a number of people wearing fitted caps, and they still have the stickers on it. I've even heard kids say things like "The hat is worth nothing if you take the sticker off". And "I'd throw it out if the sticker came off". When asked about it, the usual responses are: "it looks fresh" - how the f*ck does it look 'fresh' to wear size/price stickers? Tacky much? "It shows that it's authentic" - So? If the hat only costs around $30, no-one cares if it's the real thing or not. It makes you look cheap if you think forking out $30 for the real thing is something to show off. "It's worth more if the stickers are on" - It's a $30 hat. No-one's going to buy a cheap hat 2ndhand... I just don't get it. BQ: Do you take the stickers off your hats?
