Tips on running the mile in gym class?

  • I have to run the mile for gym class tomorrow and I need some quick tips on getting a faster time. I passed all the other tests (push ups, curl ups, etc.) for some reason I'm just bad at running. Help!

    Don't sprint til the end. Pace yourself. Run a little faster than comfortable and breathe through your nose and exhale with nose/mouth.
