How to make this a narrative poem?
-
I wrote this poem but I'm not sure if its a narrative poem. I need it to be a narrative poem cause its homework for my creative writing class. Here it is: LIttle bird in the sky, Take me with you. I want to fly. Spread your wings Let's go high over The rainbow thats high above the clouds. Summer is coming. It's nice and warm. You don't have to run, To hide from the cold. Stay here. Take me high, Little bird lets fly. Now I know I understand a narrative poem has to be some kind of story but would this be considered a story? If not what should I change to make it one?

Answer:
It's a nice idea quite aesthetically expressed. To continue with it you might like to have plotting ideas from professional channels like schoolwork.com. Or just develop a picturesque travelogue for the bird and you and see where the journey leads to. Do keep on writing.
