What is the best medical/emergency job in the military?

What kind of job would best suit me if I'm turned away from joining the military?

• I'm enlisting in the Navy this December (right after my 17th birthday, I will graduate home schooled, and yes, my parents will sign). But I've had 3 concussions (no symptoms, and I there's no medical record of them either), and asthma when I was younger (no meds past the age of 12. And my recruiter said I need to pass a pulminary test, and I'll be in). But I'm pretty nurveous about not getting in. I've lost 60lbs+, I started running, and weight lifting when I was 14 just to get ready to enlist in the military. I really want this! That said, I'm not completely forgetting the fact that the Navy can turn me down for any reason they can think of. So, what jobs would suit me in the civilian world if I can't enlist (as a 17 or 18 year old). Police officer? Firefighter (volunteer, or paid)? Am I honestly overreacting? UGH!

  The first two answers are jokes and the third is good for prior service not for those who have never served... Try contacting your sheriff's office or local fire fighter dept if you are wanting to serve a cause greater than yourself. Perhaps even EMT? You can call your city council to help refer you to some good places and some good volunteer opportunities like the red cross and habitat for humanity etc...
