Why am I so tired all the time?

Why do I feel tired all the time? Read description.?

  • I am becoming more tired than usually over the past months. I slowly am becoming really tired when i get home from school all the time and have been getting sick. Last month when I became really tired again, I had a fever, sore throat, stuffy nose, fatigue, etc. Sometime I feel really okay then BOOM. at 6 I just get on the couch, feel really tired and fall asleep for hours. I am very very stressed because I am just finishing school in a month and have projects, finals, etc. But even when I wasnt stressed, I felt this way...Whats going on with me? Should I see a doctor? Do you think it's serious? What should I do? Help??? By the way I am 15 years old.

Hi Fairy72, You should get your Thyroid checked into, you could have Hypothyroidism (Underactive Thyroid) or Hypathyroidism (Over-active Thyroid) If your body doesn't make much hormones, it over works itself, hence the sleepiness, drowsiness, etc. Also, you could be over-working it and need a break from your busy life. Why don't you think and do something else for a change, like take naps, watch tv, something that doesn't require you to do so much. It could be something entirely, far from what anyone lists. You should go and explain your symptoms. BECAUSE, you already know it's the right thing to do. We all can say this and that, but only a professional can give a real diagnoses. Take care. Keep warm, drink tea and eat some soup. Till then... (Happy Mother's Day!)
