Why do I constantly feel like I am catching a cold?

I often for a couple weeks feel like I am about to catch a cold, my head hurts, my throat hurts but the cold never fully comes into full force. This happens for a couple weeks, and then goes away. Is my body lacking something, or what could be the reason for this?
