I currently have an associates degree in applied science and I am contemplating on going back for a bachelors degree.

Since Applied Science isn't focused towards one specific industry, most graduates get jobs as technicians or lab assistants. What type of job you could get really depends on what courses you were focused on taking (e.g. biology, physics, electronics, math, chemistry, etc.). If you want to increase your chances of getting a job, make sure your bachelors in science is more specific.
