How to find old facebook statuses on timeline?

i'm trying to find a status i posted in september, and i clicked year 2011 on the timeline thing, but when it opened up supposedly the whole year of 2011 i noticed that it didn't show most of my statuses and didn't give me a month option within the year. how exactly do i fix this?
