Should I major in Computer Science or Computer Engineering?

A Double Major in Computer Science and Computer Engineering w/ A Minor in Computer Gaming?

• A Double Major in Computer Science and Computer Engineering w/ A Minor in Computer Gaming? Is this too much work or is it feasible? I know a double major is already a lot. Is a double major with a minor next to impossible? I really want to learn coding and the making of codes and computer programs especially, but not solely, as it pertains to gaming (because I like gaming and to make my own mods and hacks would be awesome though I know I'm not necessarily going to make a career of that). Is there anyone here who has majored/minored in any of these disciplines or who has had a double major or double major + a minor?? They all match up pretty well so I'm thinking it won't be too-too many extra courses....PLEASE I NEED ADVICE

  Why would you want to put yourself through all that? They're all pretty taxing majors. Computer engineering on its own will guarantee many sleepless and endless frustration. You should probably do some research and understand what each of those fields pertain to. Computer Engineering specializes in building computer hardware. It combines aspects computer science and electrical engineering. You learn how to analyze circuits, design semiconductor devices, build architectures and programs to run on these cirucits. Computer science mainly deals with the virtual aspect of computers. While gaming is specializing in a field of computer science. You should be able to find programs with specialties in computer graphics in both computer engineering and computer science. Studying computer gaming, you'll probably be more focused on visuals. If you're very science oriented, like physicals, calculus engineering is your pick. If you love to program, go for computer science. If you're more taken with graphics, study gaming. However, a good computer engineering can switch between all these fields and more.
