What are single,dual and quad kite lines?

NEED HELP pink lines hp pavilion dv6 quad edition?

  • i was on my laptop and my screen just suddenly went pink flashing lines appeared more on the right than the left and it only appears to be like that on the white and most other colours its just fuzzy pink when i log of or on its it looks like the lcds cracked and distorted from the bottom right hand corner the computer works fine iv tried doing a system restorer no luck i also tried editing the screen display setting again with no luck thanks so much

    This normally indicates the actual screen connections have separated at that area. Normally from flexing the lid too much, often by picking the machine up by one corner of the screen and the base. Or just picking it up by the screen. It can happen in normal use, but is rare. There is no repair for this, you would need to replace the screen.

Hi, That is either a problem with the graphics chip or more likely a connection problem between the screen and the motherboard connection. Take it to a repair centre as they should be able to fix that. Assuming it's not still under warranty. Arnak
