Help! 10 points!!! How to transfer imovie to another mac to work on?

• I am working on an imovie for my group and we were assigned to do different parts, on our own laptops then combine them after we're done on 1 laptop. The problem is we don't know how to combine all ours to one laptop and still work on it. Exporting it to a USB drive, flash drive, or hard drive whatever we call it, only exports it to the flash drive, and when you open it, it opens it on itunes not imovie. Please tell me how to transfer an imovie to another mac OSx and still be able to work on it on imovie.

  When you transfer the iMovie application, you need to also transfer all the component files to make it work as well (which can be found somewhere stored in your Mac). If that does not work, then I am sorry but you will just have to try to get hold of an iMovie installation disc and install it that way.
