How do I get rid of the scratches in my WOOD laminate floors?

  • My cat's claws have left some long scratches (not deep) in my wood laminate floors. Normally I wouldn't care about these, but it's an apartment and I want to take good care of it for my landlord's sake. How do I get rid of these scratches? Also, sandpaper is NOT an option for wood laminate flooring.

  • Answer:

    You can't. Maybe you can hide them with oil though, furnature polish works.

Unfortunately, the only fix for scratches on laminate it to replace the scratched board(s) with new ones.

Unfortunately, finish scratches can't be removed. However, try some wood stain markers to see if it works. They are those yellow markers that you find in the paint area in a hardware store. Good luck

You can not remove this scratch , it is irremovable.you can try to spray high quality transparent liquid car varnish .
