is there away to change the background image of individual workspaces on Gnome Desktop?

Why won't my desktop change it's background image? D:?

  • I tried to do these steps but they don't work; 1) Go to Control Panel 2) Click Appearance 3) Something about a "Background" thing. Well, there's nothing, anywhere, that says "Change Background" or anything. Not only that but I've looked through every option there is in the Control Panel--Not one thing saying absolutely ANYTHING about Desktop Background. Well after going through one of the biggest headaches I've ever experienced in weeks, I decided to try just saving an image and then opening it on Windows Live Gallery, where I just right click and there's an option saying ,"Set as Desktop Background". Tried that, it also didn't work. Why in the world is there no option in Control Panel to change my desktop background? Though I'd like for that to be answered dearly, right now I just wanna change my background image so it can become seemingly interesting by at least 5% //lol So to sum it up; How do I change my desktop's background?

There is a program named 'Starter Background Changer", use it to change background. I use 7 starter and I was unable to change background as well as screensaver..but everything is fixed now
