What is the instructions in getting the ink from printer?

Are my parents getting hosed on printer ink?

  • They have a regular Dell printer/scanner that prints black & color. My parents say that they pay $100 for the black and color cartridges together. They order the ink directly from Dell. Are they getting ripped off? What can they do about it?

    real high!! there are so many cheap alternatives. and using non oem dell ink won't void your parent's printer. there's a law for this.

Dell is the biggest pirate in an already rotten industry. Your parents would be better off throwing out that Dell printer and buying an Epson printer. It will cost them less than $100 and already come with ink. Then if they go to www.ccs-digital.com, they will be paying about $1 a cartridge after getting $2 back for the empties. I use their refillable cartridges and pay less than 50 cents to fill them.
