How to fix my wobbly laptop screen?

Hard disk drive missing? And how much to fix a cracked laptop screen?

  • I have horrible luck with computers. First I get a nasty virus that wipes out my brand new desktop, then I find out my new Acer laptop screen has been cracked and ruined, and now my third laptop computer says the hard disk drive is missing and won't start up. What does that mean?? I have a sister and we both need a laptop desperately so this is very unfortunate to happen. I need to know if I can fix the one with the hard disk drive missing, and how much it would cost to get a new screen on my Acer. Please help. I'm only 17 and I don't know much about computers. :/

    It's almost always possible to recover from a computer infection by one means or another, but you and computers certainly don't seem to get along :) Can you be more specific when you say your third laptop says the disk drive is missing?

I just replaced a screen on an Acer Aspire 5253-BZ656 15.6 LCD screen. it cost me 69.00 bucks. I ordered it from LCD4less.com The price varies depending on the make, model, and screen size and type. I replaced one that cost 186.00 just for the screen. As for the hard drive the price will depend of the size and brand.
