Which hotel should we stay in for Sesame Place?

Need pointers on safe/unsafe areas to stay at (hotel) near Sesame Place...?

  • Planning a trip to Sesame Place, main concern is safety of the surrounding area to book a hotel. I don't know the area at all so help is greatly needed and appreciated.

  • Answer:

The area around Sesame is all pretty safe. You aren't going to be in shady areas if you are in the vicinity of Langhorne. I know there is a Holiday Inn Express and Marriott very close to Sesame, and a Sheraton is located right across the streeet. These are the hotels recommended by Sesame, and they are all in safe areas: http://www.sesameplace.com/sesame2/plan.aspx?id=preferred-hotels We've stayed at the Comfort Inn Levittown before, and it was great - a big playground, a nice pool, and kids' entertainment during breakfast.

Sesame Place is in Bucks County which is suburbia. Any area near there would be safe. Now some of the hotels in Northeast Philadelphia advertise that they are near Sesame Place. While the drive would be less than 30 minutes, the neighborhoods in NE Philly are hit and miss.
