How much would a trip to Europe cost for a month?

How much would a 6 month Europe trip cost?

  • So when I graduate I'm planning on going throughout Europe in an RV. I'm not paying, my dad is. But I just wanna know how much it will cost? Or how much you think it would cost based on estimates. So I'm going to rent an RV for around 7 months I'm going to keep my RV filled with food the whole time I'm going to eat out everyday I'm going to be starting in Sicily and go up through Italy to Paris (make a lot of stops throughout and eat in the different towns and enjoy the scenery) Then I'm going to head to Berlin, then I'm going to make my way up to Russia, then make my way to Greece I'm probably going to take a few tours in the bigger cities The trip is gonna be very laid back, so I'm gonna stop in the different towns and try their food, just like a full out tour of everything about Europe, theirs not for sure course, but I will definitely be going to those cities I mentioned. So based on the rental cost of a semi luxurious RV, gas, eating out 3x a day in different cities, cost of tours (maybe 5), keeping an RV fully stocked with food the whole time, going to gourmet restaurants (maybe 8-10 gourmet restaurants throughout the 6 months). And basically everything else that would be needed to take account for. Remember it's doesn't have to be very precise, just estimates. My dad said it would probably cost him around $60,000-$70,000. (ps. I'm very much into history and culture, so I won't be doin much partying, mostly just fun history, which I do love history)

  • Answer:

Russia is a very difficult country to gain entry into. True. You are a tourist for 90 days. Then you are an illegal, bound for prison in a foreign country. Both of you need lots of help to arrange anything close to this. Get some help from a travel agent to start your planning. You sound like you want to spend your time in gas stations and have your nose in a map all the time. Sounds reasonable for the travel agent to help you do this. Or you can get something easier on you. What about renting a place and going traveling from there each year? Homeaway.com

Just a hint. After 90 days you become an illegal alien who will be deported and face a 10 years travel ban (btw. there is no guarantee that they will ever let you in again even if those 10 years have passed) for the whole EU. And changing the country will not help you because those 90 days count for the whole schengen area. The only place outside of schengen you mentioned is russia (and they won´t let you in without a visa anyway). So forget 6 month. It´s 90 days then you have to go home.
