Why do people go out?

Why can't people who are good just be good and not have to go to Church?

  • Some people who go to Church are not as good as some people who don't but people say the guy who went is better because he spent his time there. Why can't we just NOT go to Church and be good, live a good life, and finally go to Heaven without these people who think you MUST go

    I have always wondered........ about this as well. I don't even have to ....believe in mythical gods..... to just be decent ....and do good to others.

well you don't have to go to church but the least you can do is just accept jesus as your lord and personal savior

You confuse Religion, Spirituality and beliefs. There are some who believe that you can do just what you suggest.

Because there is nothing that you can do to earn salvation. God judges by His standards not yours. God considers lust to be adultery and hate to be murder. In Gods eyes none of us are good. This is why Jesus had to die on the cross for the remission of our sins. If you think you or anyone else is good enough to get to heaven then you have deceived yourself and the truth is not in you.
