Skype and very confused?

If i canceled my skype, would the other person get my message even after i deleted skype?

• i got real upset with the person i was skyping with. basically found out my husband is a cheating scum. so i made it clear to him that i was canceling my skype and he'd never be able to chat with me, i'm changing my phone number this Monday and when he gets back from deployment i will be moved out of the apartment. this way i lose all communications with him. He was very upset and refused to send me money knowing i don't have a job. but little does he know ive got one lined up this monday. I'm done and i don't want to hear from him again. i've been is such pain and i cancelled my skype. like i deleted the whole skype thing from my lap top after sending my last message to him. but today i get an email that he sent me 50 bucks in my account and is wishing me Happy Mother's Day??????????????/ ..... i'm so confused? do you think he got my message or do i have to send him an email letting him know this information again. I know like facebook if you shut your account down then everything you've ever written to anybody is disappered? does skype work the same way. i don't want to look foolish unless i know he saw my message.
