How do you keep your hair straight after you've already straightened it?

Will my hair keep growing back curly even if I've straightened it in the past?

  • So I have naturally curly hair. It's shoulder length. I used to absolutely hate my curly hair but now I like it and want it to grow longer. I'm afraid if it won't keep growing curly since I used to straighten it in the past you know? Any help ? please answer

  • Answer:

It will always grow back curly. It is possible that it won't curl quite to the same extent as in the past. But it will always be curly :) There are a lot of great products you can get to encourage and manage curly hair as well! :)

Just Wondering

Hormone's has a lot to do with it. My youngest son's hair went from curly when he was a baby, once I snip the curls they become straight until he turned 16, then his hair got curly like his dad again. Pregnancy & childbirth, can also change the texture of your hair. My SIL always had frizzy pouffy hair, by the time she had her 3rd son, her hair was silky, shiny, soft & smooth. Then she got pregnant again, and her hair went back to frizzy & pouffy hair. ALSO: When hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tampered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . .It's 50/50 chance how your hair will grow curly or straight.
