How do I activate a camera for my mac?

CAMERA OR MAC BOOK? help!?

• Okay, so i have an allowance of 3 dollars a day that i do extra chores if i work VERY hard i could earn 21 dollars now i only have to pay for 1/3 of a mac book or camera to get one myself. now at this rate i would be able to get both the mac book and the camera (canon rebel T3) by October 20th and if i get the camera first i will get it on july 27 and if i get the macbook first it will be august 11 now which one should i get first is the big question!? i wanna use the mac many for making videos for High school classes and i want the camera to make them better quality i cant decide which one should happen first? HELP!!!! thanks in advance!! :)

  For the difference in cost between a Mac Book and PC, you could buy a PC notebook AND a dSLR with money left over. My guess is that you have not made a list of the costs involved. My offsite Notebook cost less than $700. A Nikon D3200 costs under $700 with a lens. The Mac Book with the same i5 CPU costs nearly $1,500. NO camera. In practice, the PC and Apple computers with equal CPU power run Photoshop and LIghtroom at the same speed, so there is NO advantage to a photographer to spend the extra money for a Mac Book. Maybe in a few years, when you have your photographic skills honed and know how to use Lightroom routinely, then consider buying a Mac Book if you find you want it. For now do your research. The i5 CPU runs the Adobe programs just as fast on a Mac Book as a PC notebook and there is no advantage in quality of the final product, still or video. NOTE: Most high schools with classes in photography and video have computers you can use at school as well as the necessary software
