How long does it take to get your master degree in medical science?

Question about master's degree for atmospheric science?

  • Ok, I'm an undergrad pursuing a bachelor's degree to become an airline pilot. This degree requires a few weather courses. I want to get a master's in meteorology or atmospheric science after I graduate. The purpose of the master's degree is to have a backup career in case I become medically unqualified to fly. If I take the required calculus and physics courses to get into a master's program and take the required classes while in grad school to get the master's would I be eligible to get a job with the National Weather Service? Please answer this question only if you know what you're talking about. Thanks!

  • Answer:

1340 Series... http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/standards/IORs/gs1300/1340.htm People who do not have an undergraduate degree majoring in meteorology can enter a master's program; however...they are required to take the undergraduate courses at the graduate level.
