What is the yahoo briefcase?

What happened to ny briefcase and photos from my j_trull account on yahoo?

  • My yahoo account [email protected], had two accounts http://briefcase.com/j_trull and http://photos.com/j_trull. When these two parts of my account were not accessible I lost a lost of pictures of my baby son who is now 10 years old. Is there any possible way to help me retrieve these pictures that I tried to store her because I thought it was a safe way to store and share them?

    Sorry, but "Briefcase" was shut down Tuesday, March 30, 2009, users got several mails informing them about the date, and it was also posted on the YA pages. Since then access to your briefcase and/or to files within is no longer possible. The same holds true for your pictures: not long after Yahoo acquired Flickr, they shut down "Yahoo Photos" - users were also informed about that and given a choice about where to transfer their pics. At the same time we were informed that all remaining photos would be deleted...
