What is the best studying method?

  • In your opinion, which studying method works the best for you? I want to improve my grades.

    When it comes to studying, I like to turn off everything and sit on the couch with my homework and my laptop. I turn on my Pandora, and I put it on the "Pirates of the Caribbean: Soundtrack" station, and just power through everything that I need to look over. Studying always works best when you don't have distractions, which is very hard to get away from!

Try to study the week before the test... and working up until the big day. Cramming is the WORST possible thing you can do!!! It makes you stressed and you don't even end up remembering anything. I prefer to study straight from the book: reading the material from end to end... but that is your decision. Most of what the teacher says is what is on the test. Try to get into a habit of refreshing yourself with what you learn and studying in advance. It is hardwork but it works. Also, get a study buddy who has the same goals as you. Good luck.
