What is a good college to go to for that?

What's a good college to go to and what's a good major to pick?

  • I just got my ACT scores back, i got a 19 composite with a 16 in reading, a 17 in english, 24 in math and a 18 in science. I like math alot so what's a good major to pick and what college should I go to. I'm thinking about ISU. Please leave respectful suggestions! =)

  • Answer:

Unless you have an outstanding gpa and can obtain sizable scholarships, I always recommend that Undergraduate Students attend a college/university in their state of residence. Pretty much all of them offer the same majors and can provide you with a good education. Then, if you decide you would like to pursue Graduate Studies, consider your best options both in and out of state. You enjoy Mathematics and would like a major that involves a lot of Math? Well, there are plenty to choose from and most are in high demand. You might want to look at any of the following: Accounting, Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Biochemistry, Business Administration, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering- Civil, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, etc., Finance, Mathematics (Teaching Emphasis), Management- General, Human Resource, Information Systems, Operations, etc. or Physics.
