Is it possible to install punjabi language fonts in Android phone or Any Tab with Andoid OS?

i am from punjab and i had a sony ericsson xperia mini mobile phone with Ice cream Sandwich OS. i use ms-word in that phone and want to install punjabi fonts in it. please tell if it is possible to install additional fonts in it and if yes.... how could i do this ?

If you google you will get several different answers for doing this. Here is one from the internet. Installing punjabi font (root required) To install a punjabi font you must root your phone(not literally ;) ). http://www.punjabiportal.com/forum/read-and-write-punjabi-on-android-t4999.html 1. Root your phone. (will void your warranty) 2. Download 'root explorer' from market ($4.99) 3. Download any punjabi font and transfer it to your phone. 4. Rename the font to 'DroidSansFallback.ttf'. 5. Open root explorer and locate your font, copy the font fron SD card and paste it in fonts folder /System/Fonts, make sure you click on 'Mount R/W' before you paste font in fonts directory. 6. Long press on DroidSansFallback.ttf and from option choose 'Permissions' and permissions to rw-r-r. 7. Reboot your phone and enjoy
