What does it mean when a girl text you goodnight without smiley face?

  • I text with this girl and she text me first sometimes, sometimes i do but so far most of the time she has texted me first. Idk if she likes me or what. At night when im going to sleep i tell her night with a smiley face and she replies just with a night, thats most of all the time. We started to text like 1 week ago. What does that mean? Is she not interested or she just dont put smiley face? Idk im confused lol thanks for your help:)

    If she texts you first most of the time it means she likes you, as for no smiley face, I wouldn't read too much into that, maybe she prefers not to use it, I know I don't.

It doesnt mean anything.. gosh & i thought girls were the only ones who complicated things so much haha.. some girls use smiley faces all the time. some dont ever. and some only do sometimes. it really means nothing tho in my opinion & im a girl..Also that last person is dumb dont ask her if she likes you it may scare her away.. if you dont like her wHo cares? & If you do dont act like it at all in fact appear a little not interested in her & then everyonce in a while show some interest.. itll cause her to Think about you alot. & then ask her if she'll go out with you after youve driven Her crazy a while (: (; imma smiley face sorta person lol so if i dont i probaly dont wanna talk to you... haha

Girls like to have someone to talk to. Sometimes I text my guy friends first just to strike up conversation and see what's going on with them. She may like you, but I wouldn't rely totally on her text messages to you. Watch how she acts when she's around you. Flirty? Then odds are she texts you first because she likes you. If she treats you like all of her friends, she probably just likes to have a text buddy. Its a compliment. Once you find that out, make your move! As for the smiley faces- some people just don't like to use them, not much to it.
