Need help in choosing a longboard?

I think I am going to get a horse but I need help choosing a saddle and bridle. Quick Help?

• I think I am going to get a horse but I need help choosing a saddle and bridle. Quick Help? This horse is about 16.0 hands and specializes in Saddle Seat but also in Hunter/English pleasure. I usually do English/Hunter pleasure or dressage. I need help choosing a saddle because I want to know what saddle would be best for him and I? Im about 5'7. Also, what type of bridle and reins would be good? Any other info? Please help! And how many inches would the saddle have to be?

  You need to match the saddle to the horse, the height and width of his withers and the slope of his back, and to your own backside. You really haven't given any information to help do that, and even if you had YOU need to do the choosing first hand. The bridle, and the bit you didn't mention, need to be matched to the horse and how he handles. If he handles easily, use a gentle bit and a bridle that provides little or no leverage on the bit. If he has a "hard" mouth or is headstrong or tries to take the bit in his teeth, you would need a harsher bit and a bridle that provides leverage on the bit. I hope that helps.
