Where do i find ddr1 1gb cheap?

  • I need to find DDR1 (NOT DDR3 OR 2 ITS NOT COMPATIBLE) but all i find is ddr2 or ddr3 and its not what im looking for! i can find 256 mb but its not enough i need at least one GB DDR1 for my laptop because my laptop doesnt have a lot of memory and i wanted to upgrade to over 1GB (it has 512MB but only 391MB is usable (i have two ram slots filled each with 256MB DDR1) where can i find 1Gb DDR1?? i looked everywhere! i just want some dirt cheap 1gb DDR1 from amazon or something (dont ask me to search i already tried! havent found anything!) even two 512MB's would be fine if someone could please find a website where i can buy (two) DDR1 512MB's or just one DDR1 1GB (has to be EXTREMELY cheap i dont care about quality

    Post the brand, model number, operating system of the laptop when asking a question. With the above info can find the correct memory module(s) for the laptop and the max the system will support by going to http://www.crucial.com and entering the info. Your older laptop with XP will support only 1 GB of ram memory any more than that will not be used or recognized. Use 2 x 512 MB memory modules for a total of 1 GB. What you are looking for is not commercially available. ddr memory is 512mb tops if that. So what you are looking for is RAMBUS.
