How to add music to DVD?

Windows DVD Maker says "cannot create DVD preview" when I add music?

  • I can add my pictures and two of the four songs I want to use for my slideshow, but when I try to add either of the other two songs, I get an error message saying "cannot create DVD preview" and I also can't burn the DVD. It works just fine with the other two songs. I just purchased 3 of the 4 songs at once today from itunes, so I don't know what's causing this. Any ideas? or any suggestions on another way to create my slideshow? Is there something else I can use? (preferably something free)

Hi.. Itunes music downloads for the most part are in m4a or mp4 ... M4a may be converted easily .. With a right click select to create an alternative version. The alternative version depends on your import settings. Edit>preferences >General > import settings. (Select mp3) But m4p you will need to burn an an audio cd and rip back with itunes. The same applies with the import settings.
