What are some songs to learn on Guitar?

  • Okay. I am a 13 year old girl and this is my 5th year of playing guitar. My early years of guitar have just been classical and i almost died of boredom every lesson. It was classical notes. BORING! Now that i am at high school i am into guns n' roses and led zeppelin. i also like aerosmith and a bit of acdc. Please no metallica. I need songs because about a year ago my older (now 15 year old) sister had a go at guitar. She plays every night now and has a brand new $150 guitar. I have to confess that i am a tad bit jelous because she has only been playing for 1 or 2 yaers and this is my 5th. she sounds just as good as me :o HELP! so basicly i need songs that sound like SUPER pro ;) thanks so much !

    Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne Santeria - Sublime Thunderstruck - ACDC (sounds hard but is really easy) Sweet Child Of Mine - GNR (awesome into, really easy) Good Times, Bad Times - Led Zeppelin (solo goes extremely fast btw)

If you go a bit more modern I would say about any 3 Doors Down or if it's acoustic a band called The Goo Goo Dolls (yea, some name) do lots of acoustic stuff. But if your more electric guitar then I would say Sweet Child 'O Mine by Guns & Roses. Great guitar riffs.

possibly artist like Fall Out Boy. Choose songs with maybe some general guitar playing that you like and dont sound too complicated to play. Whatever songs appeal to you, and look for chords or whatever. Its all up to you!

The Clash - Should I Stay Or Should I Go The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop Black Flag - Nervous Breakdown The Dead Milkmen - Punk Rock Girl Minor Threat - I Drink Milk etc. All great songs and easy songs to play.
