Should I go to the Disney Channel talent search?

  • Disney Channel is holding a talent search thing in Kansas City in 2 weeks, and I want to go. I really love acting and would like to try auditions not only for the obvious reason, but to get feedback. I live in Vancouver Canada though, so should I fly to Kansas City to attend this? I have a ton of Aeroplan points that are more than enough for an economy flight in America. Is this a good idea?

    you should go if you have a chance, but rarely do they pick anyone from these open calls for anything. it's a very slim chance of anything happening but there is no chance if you don't try.

If the trip will not cause a major inconvenience in your current life, do it. Don't you wanna say 20 years from now that you had the courage to go? However, focus on the audition without psyching yourself out. If there is enough time, attempt other local auditions as practice and to get an idea of your talents and abilities. You don't wanna turn out to be one of those awful American Idol auditions.

if you want to you should, so many artist and actors have been discover of the Disney channel its hard to name them all. Britney Spears Christina Aguleria Jessica Simpson Ryan Gosin (fine as hell) Justin Timberlake Hillary Duff Lindsay Lowhan Miley Cyrus Selena Gomess Demini Lavotowe and a lot more i can't even name, but its a great place for finding young talent/big names.
