How can I programmatically change the language for non-Unicode programs?

How can i change my font on my mac?

  • Okay, i just upgraded from 10.5.8 to 10.6.8 on my iMac, so i can play a game on steam. Ever since i did it, my computer has been stuck on this weird font. I can barely read it. I tried changing my settings in system preferences, under language and text, but it didn't work. I also tried to change the preference on my safari and google chrome, but they are both in the same font. It is on all of my programs too, not just my internet browsers. how can i change this?

    I'd try resetting the PRAM first to see if that clears things up. Instructions for that are in the linked article below. If that doesn't work, I would contact AppleCare. Since you just upgraded your OS recently, you should be able to get help from them. Call (800) APL-CARE.
