Are Visonik subs any good?

Can I hook up a mono amp with only one + and one - terminal to my dual Visonik V210BS subs?

• I bought a mono amp that had two terminals on the picture on ebay and I got it and it only has one. Its a kenwood 8501D amp and the subs are two 10s that were already enclosed. I have two + and two - terminals on the back of the subs. Can I just wire both the positives to the positives, and the same for the negatives? I think i'm F****D :((((

  There is a lot confusing me about your question and I don't know what's misleading you with false information. First off, your subs read dual visonik subs, meaning they are dual voice coil or maybe dual is just the brand. But it should be dvc if you have 2+ and 2- on one sub alone, or do you have 2+ and 2 - as in 1+and 1- for each sub. So taking all of this into consideration, if it is single (voice coil) and you only have 1+ 1- for each sub, you can take the 2 + to the + on the amp (twisting them together at the exposed tips) and the same for the -'s. This is called running parallel, and will take 2 4 ohms together to make 2 ohms (each parallel cuts the resistance in half) Now, if your subs are dual voice coil (2+2- per sub), then they have to be wired some kind of way before they meet each other at the amp. Wiring one sub with +1 to +2 and -1 to -2 will take your one sub paralleled to 2 ohms, but parallel the 2 together from there will bring you down to 1 ohm. That your amp is not stable for.
