Do you know how to dye hair?

Does anyone know how to remove hair dye (it was applied at home?)?

  • Ages ago I dyed my hair from brown to black using a foam to dye it at home. Now my roots are showing and I'm sick of having lank hair due to the dye. Do you just wash it a lot to remove the dye? I really appreciate any answers:S

    If the dye is permanent, it can't be washed off. Dye "grows out" which is why your original color shows at the roots first. If you have long hair, the dye will take longer to completely disappear. This is why people normally dye their hair every 4-6 weeks. If the dye is semi-permanent, then I believe it will be able to be washed out. Otherwise, you will have to wait for your original hair color to show. Good luck! :)

Was it permanent hair dye? If it was, then im sorry, but it's on there for good :c unless you shave all your hair off. If it was that temporary kind of dye, then just washing it really good for some time will take it off. Or unless you want to dye it another color, you can bleach your hair, and dye it a new color.
