What do psychiatrists do?

Of what use is the training psychiatrists got in medical school any use to them ? when all they do is talk ?

• Really its laughable how these guys are classed as real doctors. Real doctors are those who are in hospitals etc conducting physicals or in general practise etc psychiatrists do nothing really except look at people, talk to them, ask questions, then by talking to them make a diagnosis regarding mental health, might prescribe a pill and some type of therapy. really what use is their training they got in medical school though ? they never use it. if you need something physical they would send u to a GP usually. yet these guys are supposed to have more training that what a GP HAS ..do they ever do any actual work that earns the title of DOCTOR ?
