What should I know about college?

What is college like? and how do i know i will do a good job?

• ok im 15 and in 9th almost 10th grade. i want to go to college for architecture. i'm thinking about going to iowa state. but the problem is that i don't know if i will do ok in college and i don't know if i will be able to keep up. im home schooled and have been since 4th grade. another thing is that i have been designing houses since i was 12 years old and i have been drawing them free hand. architecture is in my family, my grandfather and my dad are and were both brick layers. and my grandfather told me when he saw my work that i can draw houses free hand like people who have been going to college for years for the same thing that i didn't even have to learn how to do. i think God has blessed me with the gift of drawing houses but i am just nervous about the college part of it. so my questions are: (1) Is college easy to keep up with? (2) If you get asked a question by the teacher/professor and you don't know it, will they just stay on you until you do? (3) Will the teachers/professors randomly call on you for an answer? (4) Can you pick your classes so you don't have to do the ones you hate or aren't great at? and if so how long do they give you to choose them? PLEASE HELP!!! I don't want to go into college not knowing what is going to happen. if there is any more advice you can give me i would sincerely appreciate it. thanks

  1.) it's easy if you are determined and responsible (you study ahead of time and know your stuff) 2.) Its never happened to me, it's not like highschool the professor will just teach and ask the question in general and if you know it then u can raise your hand 3.) again not really 4.)yeaa you can pick the classes you want in the order that you want them and the time that you want them too :)
