What is the best PC RPG game that matches this criteria.....?

-Released in 2009 or later -Free online multiplayer -A game where you take control of one character to battle enemies or other players' characters. Your character should be able to train to get stronger without any real limits (or very high ones). Kind of similar to Pokemon.

Take a look at City of Heroes, DC Universe Online, Champions Online, Aion, Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons & Dragons Online (just keep in mind the later two are not about PvP, more PvE and group-content centered). ...also devs and publishers have to find a better way for naming their games than just adding 'Online' at the end.
