How do you act when you are nervous?

Guys, how do you act when you're around your friends?

• Please no sarcastic responses -- I'm trying to get a good idea! What are some of the things you guys talk about or do when you're with your friends? How do you act when you're around your friends? Do you guys give each other crap and talk macho (just kidding around, like male camaraderie?) I know a guy that's polite and nice for the most part when he's on his own, and has a girlfriend that he treats alright, but when he's with his friends, he turns into kind of a buffoon, and his friends act like jerks. For instance: Drinking way too much, talking about booze, girls, sex very openly and in a rude manner. Lots of really crazy insults thrown at each other, etc. The guys sometimes talk trash about how he's "whipped" just to jerk his chain. There is the occasional serious conversation about career, life, etc. but not as much as the goofing around. Would you say this is pretty normal behavior? The male I'm talking about is 25 years old, has a girlfriend, is starting a career, and just got done with college. Thanks for your help, and sorry for the question, but I'm a woman trying to understand how a man's world works.

  Men are act all self absorbed pigs. They only think about themselves and sex. If you're talking to him and he has a girlfriend, screw all that drama and move on. Plenty of pigs in the farm. Don't waste your time.
