What happened to the Yahoo chat rooms that were once all the rage?

  • Anyone remember chatting in chatrooms? Thry even had celebrity guests. I once had a question answered by Jim Cramer on Yahoo chat. Why do you think people stopped chatting? I stopped using Yahoo chat when they started switching to voice chat. It was not as fun as typing your chat. It became sleazy too, like the old phone chat lines in the '90s.

yeah I remember them.....2-3 years ago.when Miss Sp!cy and Tinkerbell Eats Yahoo(Tinka) ruled P&S, we had P&S chatrooms....everyone in them was from Y!A and .was where we all would go when we started getting violation notices for "chatting" in our questions and answers was the same time when Y!A shoutout videos were created and put on youtube, and people were using the yahoo sketch and drawing pictures for everyone....
