Why did my iPod touch suddenly freeze up?

  • well my iPod touch froze. i took it out of my pocket and slid it open. while it was sliding open it froze. you know how the slide to unlock bar flashes, it froze and its lit up and has been like that since May 10, at 7:56 PM exactly. i know this because thats how the screen is frozen. i put it to charge and it wont show that its charging. its a 2nd generation 8 GB ipod touch. if any of u know whats wrong dont hold back, give me everything i can know.

    Try to plug it in into iTunes and See what happens.Or you lr iPod touch might have a slight malfunction.Try to hold the lock button and home button together and it will reset try it.

Try a hard reset, just hold down the home an power button until it turns off. Always works for me.

press on the bottom menu button of your ipod and turn/ on and off button at the top both at the same time for 10 seconds then let go then turn it on (:
